Dr. Haider Khaleel, a faculty member in the Engineering Science Department has recently published a book entitled Innovation in Wearable and Flexible Antennas. The book deals with the design, numerical simulation, fabrication processes and methods, qualitative and quantitative tests, and measurement techniques of wearable and flexible antennas of different topologies. Moreover, it introduces the latest research findings, design trends, and innovative applications in this exciting field.

Dr. Khaleel has also published a journal article entitled Design and Fabrication of Compact Inkjet Printed Antennas for Integration within Flexible and Wearable Electronics in the IEEE Transaction on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology.
He has also contributed with an editorial article entitled Wearable Technology: A New Era of Gadgetry Innovation to be published in the American Journal of Engineering and Applied Science of which he is an editor. Dr. Khaleel has also co-authored several book chapters and peer-reviewed conference papers with his engineering science students in 2014.
